We are YOURS . SINCERELY
We’re a young and rapidly growing communications and marketing agency based in Bristol. We have clients in Bristol, London and beyond across a range of sectors – from the UK’s leading specialist auctioneers of sports memorabilia to a leading museum group. Plus, companies that have grown out of the thriving tech scene at Bristol University, from start-ups to businesses trading globally.
We’re different. We offer our clients a combination of high-level strategic consultancy coupled with on-the-ground agency delivery. We also bring a unique combination of marketing, PR, communications, commercial and digital understanding. Our clients choose to work with us because of our expertise and experience and stay with us because we work as an extension of their internal team and focus on the deliverables that make the biggest difference to their business (and because of who we are as people and how we work).
What we’re looking for
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven PR Senior Account Manager who can grow and develop with us. Whilst you’ll be working within a wider team of communications and digital marketing experts delivering work that spans multiple disciplines, your specialism will be in delivering PR campaigns and press office activity.
If you’re an experienced Account Manager looking to take the next step up, or a Senior Account Manager that’s ready for a change, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll be working with clients, responsible for key project deliverables and becoming a central part of our agency team. We’re looking for someone that has sound experience in PR either from a pure PR agency role, or where PR has been a significant part of your in-house delivery. You’ll be well-versed in what makes a PR story and have a proven track record in press releases and copywriting, plus you’ll be able to juggle multiple projects at different stages and keep a steady stream of media coverage coming in.
You’ll be comfortable working with a broad mix of clients across both B2B and consumer campaigns, supporting on PR strategy development, plus leading on delivery, account management and reporting.
You’ll have:
- Experience working within a PR agency, or in-house PR role, at a SAM or AM level
- Understanding of the bigger picture and the strategic role PR plays to meet commercial objectives
- Proven ability to deliver PR projects and land coverage across all types of media – we want to hear about your best coverage
- Proven track record of pitching to national and industry-specific media, expert knowledge of the media landscape, including active relationships with key journalists
- Ability to continuously generate ‘new’ news opportunities, confidence to identify PR opportunities for clients, and to push back when needed on topics that won’t land
- Top-notch copywriting skills and attention to detail – there’s never a typo on your watch
- Excellent client services skills and an ability to preempt issues before they happen
- Confidence to share knowledge and support the junior team
- An honest, straight-talking personality – we make mistakes, celebrate the wins together and acknowledge when things don’t quite go to plan
- A willingness to adapt when needs be – we’re a small team and we all pitch in to help each other out
- A prolific organiser – we are a busy agency, so the ability to juggle and prioritise is a must
What we can offer you
Culture is extremely important to us. We love what we do, but we also understand you have a life outside of work. As well as a role that you can truly make your own, in a fast-growing agency, we offer:
- Full personal development plan (backed by a personal training allowance) – time and focus to help develop you as an individual, and to move you along in your career goals
- Flexibility with working from home – we were doing it long before it was cool
- Great working environment - our office is in the heart of Bristol, (easy walking distance from Temple Meads and the city centre) and part of a buzzing community of startups
- Flexible working hours – it’s about getting the job done and not about clocking in
and out - A holiday policy that gives you time to travel – 30 days per year
- Four reset days per year for your mental health and overall well-being – for when life throws a curve-ball
- Pensions – Company pension scheme
- The other stuff – all bank holidays off, team away days, maternity/paternity leave and everything else you’d expect
