Working with Alternative Business Funding to drive customer engagement

The Challenge

As a business dedicated to offering alternative funding to SMEs, Alternative Business Funding (ABF) reached out to Yours Sincerely to grow their brand presence amongst the small business community and increase traffic to their site, particularly by driving reengagement with previous users

The Plan

To achieve this, we established a bespoke digital marketing plan. This included re-establishing contact with previous service users, increasing the number of newsletter recipients and building a bank of engaging SEO content which spoke directly to small businesses owners seeking funding. This was shared on site, via social and in the monthly newsletter. 

To ensure maximum engagement with each newsletter campaign, we overhauled their newsletter and implemented a regular programme of testing and optimisation. We also carried out work to expand their audience by reengaging with site visitors.

The Results 

Over the first six months of working with ABF we saw:

  • Highest click-through rate to date – well exceeding the industry target 
  • Open rate of over 40% in an email campaign to migrate contacts
