Implementing HubSpot Automations for World of Books Group
Using Hubspot Workflows to Increase Sales
World of Books Group has been working with Yours Sincerely for several years, tapping into our Hubspot and CRM expertise alongside wider marketing support. When they decided to integrate their Sell Your Books Pro Saas platform with HubSpot, Yours Sincerely was their obvious choice for a delivery partner.
Assisting with wider strategy and direction, the project’s ultimate objective was to automate communications at key parts of the customer journey to increase engagement and keep users active.
We set about doing this by designing and building HubSpot workflow automations to improve the onboarding process, encourage a first sale and prevent user churn.
Getting Started
Initial meetings saw YS consult on the best way to integrate customer data with HubSpot, considering best practices to structure contact and company relationships.
We conducted in-depth workshops to map out the existing internal processes to see how HubSpot could make them more efficient and load lift from the new business development and customer success teams.
We also used HubSpot automations to filter and classify customer data based on the behavioural definitions the Wob team were using.
Building HubSpot Workflows
The digital team at YS planned and tested for various user scenarios, resulting in a set of complex and robust workflows that all work together to drive more sales.
World of Books Group can now test and measure different incentives and activate various marketing tools via the workflows seamlessly within HubSpot. The impact of these automations was immediately visible against Wob’s key performance indicators.
Automation Impact – A 64.5% acceleration of sales!
Since going live at the beginning of the year, automating the onboarding process has seen a 53% acceleration in customer onboarding.
Similarly, the automation of communications, educating and encouraging users to make their first trade, has accelerated the average time to first sale by 64.5% – leading to Sell Your Books Pro’s biggest month of sales yet
What’s more, the automated emails have well exceeded industry benchmarks and significantly improved customer engagement.
Finally, the HubSpot automations for customer retention have reduced churn and generated an estimated £40k in additional revenue for them in just 90 days.
